These are some of the movies we hand picked to be overhyped as in their nothing but hype jobs just because few big names play in them to sell tickets. You should always do your own research and watch few of them and see if they were really good or overly hyped.
Top Gun:
Top Gun is actually a legendary movie to some but after watching it few times, the movie is lacking substance as in Cruise as this top flight ranger that likes to act reckless in the air to make the movie more interesting, then falls in love with Charlie and the movie starts to lose substance from there. We think the script is pretty boring for an action movie
Drive:
Now this movie Drive is a bout a stunt drive who out of nowhere for some reason falls in love with his neighbor and decides to help her with her personal life as her husband gets out of prison and also to protect her son. Now this movie brings some real life value to it’s viewers but at the end people are just watching it because of Ryan Gosling being violent in most of the scenes
Frozen:
Frozen is one of the most overrated animated movie we have seen. The soundtrack is the only thing that really sold this movie but even that is pretty overhyped in our opinion. The let it go song got really annoying after few plays. But it’s an animated movie so we can’t really decide if the younger audience really enjoyed it.
Crash:
This movie got the Best picture , but the only substance the movie really brings is the violence in LA which was heavily influenced by the minorities committing crimes on the regular and the police doing their job to stop them. It’s not really anything original that we haven’t seen before.
The Nightmare Before Christmas:
Now Tim Burton might be a legend in some areas , we think this is one of his worst films as it didn’t really made much sense and made us skip large portion of the movie. This movie was probably made for his die hard fans to watch something even weirder than he put out the last time but there is much better movies out there you can watch if you really wanted to be scared and this movie is not one of them.
